mexican art & heritage
2nd and 3rd Monday from 4:00- 5:30 p.m.
at the Alma Community Art Center

This two-day class is for 1st through 5th graders only.
These young artists will be looking at artifacts from Mexico and Central America, learning the stories behind what was created, and why. They will also use their own experiences and ideas to create art, keeping in mind design techniques and materials used in the samples of art from this part of the world. The art they create will be put on display at Alma College on September 21st, during the Hispanic Heritage Celebration, Fiesta-Baile. Their work will be returned after the event.
