Showcasing unique local art in ​Gratiot's downtowns

The Gratiot Downtown Art Expo is an exciting event displaying local talent and community spirit! The goal is to produce 100 banners that will be designed and painted by adults and students ages eight and up living in Gratiot County. These banners will be displayed on downtown lampposts in Alma, Breckenridge, Ithaca, and St. Louis, creating a colorful and unique city streetscape.

Designs are chosen by representatives from each city, and artists whose designs are chosen will be contacted to pick up supplies to paint their banner.

The Art Expo is a collaborative project between the cities of Alma, Breckenridge, Ithaca, and St. Louis, ​and the Alma Community Art Center.

Those who are chosen to paint banners will be contacted by March 20, 2025.
