November 11, 2020 marked Alma Community Art Center’s nine year Anniversary!
ACAC is a non-profit corporation with a mission of bringing Art to the Community and the Community to the Arts – all built by and with volunteers. In these nine years we have:
Extensive renovations of two-thirds of our building were completed by a dedicated group of volunteers and local contractors and our new location opened in December, 2019. ACAC received grant funding from Gratiot County Community Foundation and the Rollin Gerstacker Foundation in Midland to renovate the front half of the final third of the building. We now want to go further!
Our vision is to also develop a ceramic studio in this space, complete with potters wheels and kilns. We have skilled local artists ready to teach this art form to our community – but much more is needed! Cost estimates for this space, including renovation, equipment and supplies is $33,000. That’s where you could come in… you can help us get there…
ACAC has received a very generous anonymous donation from a community member willing to match your donations! Your financial support will be doubled! Please consider a financial gift to assist with maintaining and expanding our community visual arts programming in Gratiot County – providing visual arts opportunities for all!
We use PayPal to process payments, but you do not have to have a PayPal account to make a donation!
When you receive your email confirmation from PayPal, just print the page as your receipt/proof of your donation.
