Return to Knitting is a series of four different knitting classes, Beginner I, Beginner II, Advanced Beginner and Knitting in the round

Return to Knitting - Beginner I class will be offered at the Alma Community Art Center. Sue will “meet you where you are at.” The class will be held Monday, February 7. The class time is from 2:00 to 3:30 pm.
Return to Knitting- Advanced Beginner course will be offered at the Alma Community Art Center. There will be two sessions of this class. The class is designed for knitters who can cast on, bind of work knit and purl stitches and work simple increase and decrease stitches. Students will learn "slip stitches" and "yarn over" skills, at least two more methods of increasing and decreasing stitches in a row and joining knitted fabrics with seams.

There is a non-refundable $3 fee to pay online. We hope the convenience makes this fee worthwhile for you! Return to Knitting- Beginner II class will be offered at the Alma Community Art Center. There will be one session of this class. The class is designed for knitters that cast on, work knit stitches and bind off. Students will learn to work a purl stitch, increase and decrease stitches and knit and purl stitches in the same row. The class will be held Monday February 14. The class time is 2:00 to 3:30 pm.
Return to Knitting- Double Point Needles will be offered at the Alma Community Art Center. There will be two sessions of this class. Have you wanted to try knitting needles with points at each end? Been curious about knitting as socks without seams? Intimidated by those teeny tiny sized needles? This class is for you. Using larger sized needles, students will learn how to cast on and join the knit stitches to create the knit tube essential for those mittens and socks.
