We offer classes for children, teens and adults in both single and multi-session format. Classes have explored painting in watercolor, acrylic, batik and fire (pyrography); drawing, including life drawing, caricature and cartoon; techniques including ink and colored pencil; handbuilt clay, calligraphy, batik, collage, photography, and more!
And if you prefer, ACAC is very happy to help you with an Arty Party of your own!

What does 'no experience necessary' mean?
Our classes are structured to provide an art experience through learning techniques. A subject or focus is prepared, all materials provided, and each participant receives individual attention. You will leave with a finished work of your own art!

mentoring

We are adding more opportunities this fall in small group and individual mentoring in a variety of areas such as Zentangle, pastel painting, watercolors and acrylics. More details to come!

We continue to offer monthly classes for residents of Masonic Pathways, and classes for the Gratiot County Commission on Aging,
​as part of their “Food with Friends” program.
